If you drop excess pounds, you may find relief from reflux. Obesity often occurs with acid reflux. If you lose 10% of your weight, acid reflux will have a lesser effect on your body. Don’t be silly with excessive dieting schemes, instead reduce the size of your meal portions.
You should eat as slowly as you can. Instead of eating everything in one sitting, try to eat just until you”ï¿½re nearly full. Relax and eat slowly, while savoring the taste of your food. Eating fast or eating when overly stuffed can make your acid reflux symptoms worse. One trick to alleviate some of your issues is to place your fork on your plate between each bite.
